Checking out my laptop vs. camera talents, I find mobility in any remote situation now. This is a picture of our saildown crew that helped launch the 2009 sailing season for Grateful Red. Successfully sailing down to KW with just one minor mishap - ask the men...

It was a great sail!
Ken testing his new blogging skills
I just added Ken and my work e-mail to the blog authors to see if it works.

No, it's not the Transatlantic crew, but worthy sailors anyway! (again, Just playing around with the blog features!)

I promise not to add to this daily, but the thrill of something new is fetching! I am heading down to the boat next Thursday to start/continue prep for KWRW. Ken will follow on Saturday. The boat is in great shape and Ken has had some nice upgrades done inside and out this season. For me, domestic touches, for Ken, performance and mechanical upgrades. Happy sailing!

In an attempt to keep up all up to date and intouch with each other, Ken and I have joined the "blog" age, (although, it might actually be an old concept by now). We plan to use this site to keep updated information and links that will assist the Grateful Red and Crew on the Tranatlantic voyages and beyond. Not sure how this blog will evolve, and suggestions will be welcomed, but we will try to use it as a tool.

As we all enjoy our family and friends this Holiday season, Ken and I are stepping away from the "domestic" fanfare of the day and starting to look ahead. We realize, our new adventure is right around the corner! Grateful Red must be quaking in its berth! Giddy with excitement with all the upcoming sailing adventures that you all will share with each other.
